A significant problem for all equipment in galvanizing plants is that, due to the presence of highly corrosive greases and fluxes, fine acid vapors are generated in the air. Standard coatings and materials can be difficult to maintain in this highly corrosive environment. To overcome this problem, all steel structures are manually sprayed with two layers of epoxy paint. These epoxy paints are stable and do not react with most acidic chemicals.

Use copper cable sleeves instead of plastics because plastic products such as PVC are prone to accelerated degradation in strongly acidic environments. Use rubber insulated cables instead of PVC and metal components instead of standard limit switches. The car brake is equipped with a stainless steel support plate to prevent pitting and corrosion from damaging the braking performance. The rope guide is also improved along with the hoist body, and is made of high-density polyethylene plastic.

The motors used in these ZX hoists are specially made and include forced cooling fans. The sealed lifting brake and overload assembly are installed in a protective housing.
