Cranes may be used for general mechanical handling work or high-precision assembly.

Such manufacturing generally uses a multi-level combination of high-performance, large-capacity cranes together with low-performance, small-capacity but high-duty-class cranes. In many cases, workstation cranes, such as semi-gantry cranes, slewing or wall-traveling jib cranes, are also installed below the other two levels of cranes.

Precision assembly

Low-speed inching and stable braking are used for aligning machine tools, reducers, molds, and large components, and can be combined with weighing or position feedback to reduce repeated adjustments.

Flexible coverage

Bridge, suspension, monorail, or workstation lifting equipment can be combined to cover the production line, taking into account the existing column grid, equipment height, and logistics passages.

Operation and protection

Wireless operation, zone limiting, and anti-collision are used to improve visibility and isolate risks; the control method is determined based on personnel, cycle time, and process responsibility boundaries.

The final configuration must be verified at project level in combination with rated load, load spectrum, span, lifting height, operating cycle, environmental conditions and local regulations.
