HEALTH & SAFETY
Implement risk control into the work process
Health and safety management covers design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and on-site service. The management approach refers to the risk identification and continuous improvement framework of ISO 45001, giving priority to eliminating hazards; when elimination is not possible, risks are reduced step by step through engineering safeguards, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment.
Any on-site work shall comply with the laws and regulations of the project location, the customer's safety system, and on-site permit requirements.
Main control stages
Before work
- Task risk assessment and confirmation of work methods
- Personnel qualifications, lifting plans, and tool inspection
- Energy isolation, work permits, and warning areas
During work
- Command signals, load boundaries, and personnel positioning
- Protective devices, limits, and interlocks must not be bypassed
- Stop work immediately and report any abnormality or near miss
After work
- Restore safeguards, count tools, and remove isolation
- Record inspection results, defects, and corrective actions
- Equipment operation may resume only after verification and closure
CONTROL RECORDS
Use records to verify implementation results
Project records are used to identify deviations and track corrective actions, not to replace on-site evidence with slogans.
| Monitoring items | Verification content |
|---|---|
| Training and authorization coverage | Job competence, certificate validity, and project-specific briefings |
| Inspection plan completion rate | Inspection of equipment, rigging, safety devices, and work areas |
| Hazard corrective-action closure status | Responsible person, deadline, verification evidence, and recurrence prevention measures |
| High-risk work permits | Completeness of lifting, hot work, working at height, and electrical isolation permits |
| Incidents and near misses | Cause analysis, lessons learned, and review of measure effectiveness |
