A trusted partner in the aviation industry

Lifting equipment plays a huge role in global aircraft manufacturing and maintenance. Absolutely true to its name: cranes are used not only in component manufacturing processes, but also for moving aircraft components within the workshop, and even entire fuselages. As an aerial handling system covering the entire area, cranes connect each assembly stage. The more its design is tailored to the specific process, the more production costs are reduced.

Our experience in designing and manufacturing efficient material handling solutions has earned our cranes a strong reputation in the aircraft manufacturing industry.

The type of crane varies greatly depending on the building structure. For standard workshops with a width of 40 meters or less, standard single-span cranes with single-girder or double-girder structures can be used. However, in many cases, aircraft manufacturing workshops are much larger than this, and the cranes are quite typically multi-support overhead cranes with spans exceeding 100 meters.

Aviation industry solution advantages

1. EUROHOIST Lifting solutions can effectively reduce plant construction costs:

•Optimized I-beam calculation: increase effective lifting height

•Compact structural design, optimized side clearance dimensions

2. Automated processes, shorten work cycles, improve productivity

After the aviation industry introduced automated work processes, it significantly improved productivity. At the same time, it also improved work safety. When lifting aircraft components, we provide tailor-made automated solutions as needed: EUROHOIST The crane optimizes production time

and makes the lifting process safer.

• For links that require continuous repeated gripping, transporting, and setting down of components, the process can be accelerated and safety improved

• With displacement measurement systems on each axis, up to 1000 measurement positions can be stored, resulting in extremely precise positioning

•Semi-automatic and fully automatic cranes: PLC control ensures shorter work cycles; target positioning prevents the inefficiency of manual control, with an electronic anti-sway system.

• All motion axes of the process crane are equipped with a fully automatic control system

• A self-developed warehouse management system provides comprehensive warehouse management

• Gentle handling of components and delivery to position according to takt requirements

• A redundantly designed monitoring system makes the equipment more efficient

3. Multi-point suspension cranes: single-girder and double-girder cranes suspended from 3 or more I-beams

•Pin connections are used on one underslung end carriage to avoid static indeterminacy

•Horizontal guide rollers for the bridge ensure smooth operation

•Closed-loop bridge travel frequency converter prevents bridge skewing

4. Via WIFI signal alignment across bays. Precise alignment ensures a safe and reliable process.

•Multiple optional speeds: high hoisting speed (standard hoist up to 15m/min) and high bridge travel speed(up to 100-120 m/min), for hangars with long travel distances. Precise positioning can use micro speed (incremental).

5. Safety assurance

•Area restriction: protection zones ensure safety, reduce manual physical presence, and avoid accidental damage to equipment or staff.

•Synchronized lifting: closed-loop encoder control prevents loads from slipping and ensures precise, safe loading when using 2 or more lifting points

6. Standard electronic overload limiter

•Lifting equipment load spectrum and overload records (black box)

•Safe working period control Preventive inspection alarm reminder

•Hoist motor overheating control input/connection

•Start and brake slow-speed control, preventing rapid speed changes and increasing the service life of the motor, brake, and contactor.

7. Connecting various process flows

The production equipment in the aviation industry needs to cover the entire area's overhead logistics handling system. Suspension cranes interlocked operation, achieving cross-bay handling of sensitive components within the workshop, as well as connecting various workstations in the assembly area. This saves valuable time and

reduces the risk of damage to a minimum.

Safe and efficient:

• The overhead lifting system maximizes the use of available space

• Reliably connects each production link of adjacent assembly workshops

• Interlocked operation between cranes enables direct cross-bay handling between two adjacent bays, without wasting time lowering the load

• Equipped with a cantilever beam design, making the blind spot of the trolley very small, with the service area almost covering the entire workshop space
