Scientists estimate that the secondary energy in waste, such as organic combustibles, has a high calorific value, and the heat generated by incinerating 2 tons of waste is approximately equivalent to 1 ton of coal.

Industry insiders introduce that the significance of waste incineration power generation is specifically reflected in several major aspects: first, it can make domestic waste completely harmless; second, the waste reduction effect is obvious; third, it can realize the resource utilization of waste; fourth, it has relatively little impact on the environment; fifth, it can save a large amount of land.

The Leizhou City Domestic Waste Incineration Power Plant is located at Forest Station Site No. 2051, Bangtang Forest Team, Leizhou City Forestry Bureau (next to the Leizhou City Domestic Waste Sorting Plant), covering an area of 95.679 mu. It is equipped with 2 domestic waste incineration power generation production lines of 500t/d, with a daily waste treatment capacity of 1000 tons, a designed annual operating time of 8000 hours, and an annual power generation of approximately 1.42×108kWh.

The project comprises a household waste-to-energy plant, a safe landfill area for fly ash, a leachate treatment system and associated facilities.

The total investment of this project is CNY 589,623,800.
