In July, EUROHOIST successfully signed a supply contract with China Hydropower Group for the Fiji Rewa River Water Supply Scheme Project, providing high-quality European-style lifting equipment for this important livelihood project. This cooperation marks EUROHOIST's further expansion in the South Pacific market and also contributes to Fiji's infrastructure construction.

Deepening Cooperation to Jointly Build a Livelihood Project

The Fiji Rewa River Water Supply Scheme Project is the third project signed by PowerChina in Fiji, following the Nadarivatu Renewable Energy Project and the Wainisavulevu Weir Raising Project. Located in the Suva-Nausori area, the project aims to improve the domestic water supply for local residents, promote economic development, and is of great significance for enhancing the level of urban water supply security.

Currently, Fiji mainly relies on two water plants, Waila (100,000 tons/day) and Tamavua (50,000 tons/day), for water supply. However, due to the large seasonal impact on water source volume, it is difficult to meet the growing water demand, and the reliability of urban water supply cannot be guaranteed. The implementation of the Rewa River Water Supply Scheme will greatly reduce dependence on existing water plants and provide local residents with a more stable and sufficient water source.

High-Quality Equipment to Ensure Smooth Progress of the Project

In order to ensure the efficient operation of the project, China Hydropower Group selected EUROHOIST's European-style cranes as the main supply equipment. The project includes two European-style single-girder overhead cranes and three European-style electric chain hoists. These devices adopt advanced technology and craftsmanship, featuring high precision, high efficiency, and high safety, fully meeting the needs of project construction.

EUROHOIST successfully completed the delivery of the equipment in December 2020, providing strong support for the implementation of the Rewa River Water Supply Scheme Project. The company's technical team will also continue to provide professional technical support and after-sales service to ensure the reliable operation of the equipment in the project.
